Bombers Play Hard; Come Up Short To Lynx

The Bomber football team came up short in a 37-27 loss to district opponent Webster City on Friday night.  Isaac Schafbuch was 17 for 31 for the Bombers throwing for 359 yards and three touchdowns.  On the receiving end of those throws were Kegan Odden and Reece Huen.  Odden caught 7 balls for 169 yards and two toudowns and Huen caught 8 passes for 141 yards and a score.   

Defensively, the Bombers were led by Ben Hokel who had thirteen tackles.

With the loss, the Bombers fall to 1-4 (1-2) on the season.

The Bombers are back in action on Friday, September 29 when they host Iowa Falls-Alden for Homecoming.  The freshman game will kick off at 4:45 PM and the varsity will kick off at 7:30 PM.
