Bombers Hold Tigers Scoreless In Second Half; Win 46-17

The Bombers defeated district rival Gilbert 46-17 on Friday night at Richard Strouse Field.  The Bomber's defense stymied the Tigers in the second half holding them to zero points.  Justice Sullivan (15), Josh DeTar (14.5), and Ben Lee (12) led the Bombers in tackles.  Gannon Manfull and Isaac Schafbuch each had intereceptions for the Bombers. 

Offensively, the Bombers were led by their rushing game.  Skyler Noftsger led the Bombers with 16 carries for 88 yards.  Reece Huen added 80 yards on 8 carries and two touchdowns.  Schafbuch chipped in 76 yards with one score.

With the win, the Bombers improve to 4-4 (4-2) on the season.

The Bombers are back in action on Friday, October 20 when they travel to Greene County for the season finale.  The freshman game will kick off at 4:45 PM and the varsity will kick off at 7:30 PM.
