Bombers Snap Losing Streak, Drop Tigers

The Ballard football team broke their 3-game losing streak with a 27-17 victory over Gilbert in their first district game of the season.  Nic Edwards led the Bombers with 6 receptions for 107 yards and two touchdowns.  Sam Petersen caught two passes for 66 yards and a score.  Connor Drew was 10 of 17 for 189 yards and three touchdowns.  He also led the Bomber's rushing game rushing 15 times for 88 yards.

Sam Salasek had 12 tackles for the Bombers and Mason Murphy had 9.5 tackles.  Kale Krogh had a sack.

With the win, the Bombers improve to 2-3 (1-0) on the season.

The Bombers are back in action on Friday - October 4 when they host Bondurant-Farrar.  The freshman game will kick off at 4:45 PM and the varsity will kick off at 7:30 PM.
