The men's basketball team could not miss on Monday night making 59% of their shots from the field including shooting 61% (16-26) from the three-point line in their 93-52 win over North Polk. The 16 three-pointers was a new team record beating the old mark of 14. Tyler Ihle finished the night with a career high 36 points shooting 8-10 from the three-point line tying Kam Klaver's 2004-05 mark of 8. Trey Drummond added 15 for the Bombers and Max Stoltz added 12 points to help the Bombers to their seventh win of the season. Clark Hood had 19 points to lead the Comets.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 7-13 (4-10) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Thursday - February 16 when they host Gilbert in their last game before district play. The junior varsity men will tip off at 6:00 PM followed by the varsity at 7:30 PM.
