The Ballard women's basketball team took to the road Tuesday night and defeated the Carroll Tigers handily 64-44. Brooke Loewe led the Bombers with 24 points on 9 of 16 shooting hitting four 3-pointers. She also had six steals and five assists. Maggie Larson scored 13 for the Bombers. Molly Ihle was one assist away from a double-double scoring 11 points and had nine assists. Meg Rietz came off the bench for the Bombers and added 10 for the Bombers who push their current winning streak to two in the early start of the second half of the season.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 10-2 (5-1) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Friday, January 11 when they host Winterset in a Raccoon River Conference match-up. The women will tip off at 6:00 PM.
