Bombers Compete At Nevada Tournament

The Ballard volleyball team competed in the Nevada Tournament on Saturday.  The Bombers were very competitive but ultimately lost their four matches on the day.  The Bombers would fall to Nevada (21-11, 21-12), Iowa Falls-Alden (21-23, 21-18, 15-12), and Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson (23-21, 18-21, 15-7) in pool play.  The fourth match of the day was against West Marshall in the consolation round that the Bombers would drop 25-21, 13-25, 15-9.  Nevada would defeat Dallas Center-Grimes in the finals to win the tournament.

After the tournament, the Bomber's record stands at 2-15 (1-4).

The Bombers are back in action on Tuesday, October 1 when they host Boone in a Raccoon River Conference match-up.  The freshman and junior varsity will start at 5:30 PM and the varsity will start at 7:00 PM.
