Offensive Outburst Helps Bombers Dump Hawks
Ballard Defeats South Hamilton 13-6
The Ballard baseball team had an offensive explosion and picked up a non conference win over South Hamilton 13-6 on Tuesday night. Jaden Peasley led the Bombers going 3 for 5 scoring two runs. Jaren Njos went 2 for 3 scoring three runs and driving in one. Catcher Cole Heinen had two hits and an RBI.
Peasley went the distance for the win striking out nine and scattering five hits.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 5-6 (2-1) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Wednesday, June 8 when they travel to Gilbert in a Raccoon River Conference game. The junior varsity and varsity will play starting at 5:30 PM.
