Bombers Bring Home The Win Over Polar Bears
Ballard Defeats Des Moines North 55-6
The Ballard football team came away with a dominate Homecoming win over Des Moines North on Friday night 55-6.
Eli Rouse had 10 carries for 187 yards and four touchdowns for the Bombers. Rhett Hedrick rushed nine times of 95 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Gatchel was 5 of 9 for the Bombers throwing for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Chance Lande had three catches for 70 yards and had two touchdowns.
Jackson Wacha led the defensive charge with 12 tackles on the night. Hedrick had seven tackles and Jack Nelson registered 6.5 tackles. Caleb Sparks had an interception on the night and Brody Sampson recovered a fumble.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 4-4 (2-2) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Friday - October 20 when they host Boone in their final district game of the season. The game will kick off at 7:00 PM.
