All-District Football Team Released
16 Named To The Team
The Ballard Bomber football team was well-represented on the Class 4A District 5 All-District Football Team, earning recognition across every level of postseason honors. Ballard saw several standouts named to the First Team, highlighted by senior wide receiver Easton Ersland, who anchored the Bombers' offense with his reliable hands and playmaking ability. On the defensive side, junior defensive lineman Cole Berka was honored for his disruptive presence up front, while sophomore linebacker Jake Clement earned recognition as one of the district's top young defenders. Senior defensive back Dillon Shoen capped his career with a First Team selection thanks to his strong coverage and leadership in the secondary. Versatile junior Tanner Ruby was also named First Team Utility for his impact in multiple phases of the game.
Ballard added a strong group of Second Team selections as well. Junior quarterback Bryce Miller earned a spot after guiding the Bombers' offense with consistency, while senior wide receiver Brady Hillebrand and sophomore receiver Kanen DeYoung were both honored for their contributions in the passing game. In the trenches, juniors Carter Sparks and Dylon Marks were named Second Team offensive linemen after anchoring the front line. Senior linebacker Lewis Harms was recognized on the Second Team for his steady play and physical presence, and junior Sam Hoffman was also selected as a Second Team Utility player, recognized for his versatility and ability to fill multiple roles. Sophomore Bowen Benndict earned Second Team honors at punter, highlighting his strong season on special teams.
Ballard's Honorable Mention selections included seniors Blake Brendeland and Max Clark, along with sophomore Trent Baker, each of whom played key roles in the Bombers' defense. Their contributions throughout the season helped shape a competitive and resilient Ballard squad. Together, Ballard's All-District honorees reflect a program built on toughness, commitment, and steady development.
