After an outstanding season at the helm of the Ballard Bombers, Coach Jeff Schertz has been named the Raccoon River Conference (RRC) Coach of the Year.  The honor comes after Schertz guided his team to a dominant 15-1 conference record and an impressive 21-3 overall finish, cementing the Bombers as one of the top programs in the state.

Schertz's leadership was instrumental in leading Ballard to its second consecutive state tournament appearance and third in the last five years.
