Men’s Basketball Cruises Past Toreadors
Ballard Defeats Boone 79-33
The Ballard men's basketball team continued its perfect season Tuesday night, rolling past Boone 79–33 in an RRC matchup at the Hangar.
Ballard set the tone immediately, jumping out to a 22–8 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. The Bombers' defensive pressure limited Boone to just three points in the second quarter, allowing Ballard to take a commanding 42–11 advantage into halftime.
The Bombers maintained their intensity after the break, outscoring Boone 25–15 in the third quarter to extend the lead and create separation early in the second half.
The victory keeps Ballard unbeaten at 13–0 overall and 10–0 in Raccoon River Conference play, as the Bombers remain firmly in control of the conference race.
Ballard will be tested on the road next, traveling to North Polk on Friday, January 23, for a key RRC contest. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
