Wright Competes At Individual State Tournament
Wright Bowls A 555
Ballard sophomore Brenden Wright, Ballard's first ever state bowling qualifier, competed at the State Individual Bowling Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Maple Lanes Bowling Center in Waterloo.
Each qualifier would start the tournament by bowling three games. After three games, Wright bowled a 555 good enough for 25th place out of 32 bowlers. The top 8 bowlers would qualify for bracket play. Wright did not qualify for bracket play and was eliminated from the tournament. St. Albert's Adam Denny who was the #1 see in bracket play defeated his teammate Cole Pekny in the finals to win the individual tournament.
With Wright's elimination from the tournament, ends the first bowling season in the program's history.
