Ballard Defeats Gilbert 2762-2500
The Ballard men's bowling team delivered a commanding victory over Gilbert on Monday at Perfect Games, winning by 262 pins with a total score of 2,762 to Gilbert's 2,500. The win keeps the Bombers undefeated this season, improving their record to 3-0 (3-0).
Junior Braden Skurdal led the way for Ballard, racking up an impressive 412 total pins, including a high game of 211. Gage Tapp, another standout junior, followed closely with 396 total pins and posted the match's top high game of 226. Fellow junior Stetson Kane added 389 pins and matched Skurdal's high game of 211. Senior Brenden Wright and sophomore Carter Sparks contributed solid scores of 348 and 336 pins, respectively, with Wright also achieving a high game of 202.
The Bombers' strong teamwork and high-level performances have solidified their early-season dominance. They will look to extend their winning streak when they host Greene County on Monday, January 6, at 2:30 PM.
