Bombers Pick Up "W" Over Panthers
Ballard Defeats Knoxville 2708-1897
The Ballard men's bowling team continued their dominant season, defeating the Knoxville Panthers in a Two Rivers Conference matchup at Perfect Games. The Bombers delivered a stellar performance, finishing with 2,708 total pins to Knoxville's 1,907, improving their record to a perfect 4-0 (4-0 conference). Junior Braden Skurdal was unstoppable, leading all bowlers with a high series of 438, including the match's top individual game of 245, and averaging 219 pins per game. Senior Brenden Wright added strong support with a high series of 354 and a top game of 191, while sophomore Kyler Johnson contributed a series of 309 and a high game of 159.
Knoxville's standout performer was junior Troy Binns, who recorded a high series of 305 and averaged 152.5 pins per game.
"Our team's focus and execution have been outstanding," said the Bombers' head coach Corey Vespestad. "Braden's performance today was exceptional, and the entire team continues to work together and push each other to new heights."
The Bombers look to keep their undefeated streak alive as they prepare to face Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday, January 14, at 3:00 PM.
