Men’s Bowling Battles but Falls to Tigers in Conference Matchup
Greene County Defeats Ballard 2906-2431
The Ballard men's bowling team turned in several strong individual performances but ultimately came up short against a deep and consistent Greene County squad in Heart of the Raccoon Conference action at Perfect Games in Ames. Greene County claimed the team victory with a total of 2,906 pins to Ballard's 2,431.
Senior Stetson Kane led the Bombers with a standout 420 series, earning second overall among all competitors. Kane also delivered Ballard's top individual game, rolling a 230 to secure fourth place in the high-game standings. His 210 average per game ranked second in the field and anchored Ballard's competitive effort.
However, Greene County's depth proved decisive. Junior Chase Fecher led the Rams with a meet-best 426 series and a 213 average, while teammates Teagan Chisholm (408 series), Jacob Rumley (403 series, 252 high game), and Trenton Lee (388 series) filled out a dominant top five.
The team now sits at 2–2 overall and 0–2 in conference play.
