Johnson’s 400 Leads Bombers Past Cubs
Ballard Defeats Nevada 2798-2502
The Ballard men's bowling team picked up a convincing victory over Heart of Raccoon Conference opponent Nevada Friday, rolling to a 2798–2502 win.
Ballard was led by Kyler Johnson, who posted a perfect 400 series to top the match, while Carter Sparks added a strong 386 series, including the high game of the night at 239. Seniors Gage Tapp and Kolby Robinson each contributed 379 pins, helping the Bombers build a sizable lead over Nevada.
Nevada's Liam Davidson turned in a solid performance with a 392 series, but it wasn't enough to overcome Ballard's balanced lineup and high-scoring efforts.
With the win, Ballard improves to 4–3 overall and 2–3 in conference play.
The Bombers will return to the lanes Saturday, January 17, traveling to Norwalk for a meet beginning at 9:00 AM.
