Colvin’s 71 Sparks Bombers’ Championship Round
Ballard Shoots A 310
The Ballard Bombers turned in a statement performance at the Washington Invitational, capturing the team title with a composed and efficient round of 310 at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course.
In a competitive 17-team field, Ballard separated itself with consistency across the lineup, finishing five strokes clear of runner-up Newton (315) and well ahead of third-place Pella (322). Host school Washington placed fourth at 324.
Ballard was led by Jamin Colvin, who fired a 1-under-par 71 to secure a runner-up individual finish.
Jordan Domino added a strong 74, placing fifth overall and giving Ballard a reliable one-two punch at the top of the leaderboard. The supporting cast rounded out the championship effort with Parker Domino carding an 81 (15th), while Drake Hosteng and Alex Weeks each posted rounds of 84 to solidify the team score. Riley Dingel contributed an 88.
With the victory, the Bombers continue to build momentum heading into the heart of the season.
