Weeks Recognized as RRC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year
Led Bombers To RRC Conference Tournament Title
Wyatt Weeks has been named the Raccoon River Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year following a standout season that saw the Bombers rise to the top of the conference and secure the conference championship in dominant fashion.
Weeks guided the Bombers through a challenging schedule, culminating in a commanding performance at the RRC Tournament at Veenker Memorial Golf Course, where Ballard captured the title with a team score of 294. The Bombers finished well ahead of North Polk (315) and ADM (318), capping off one of the most consistent and complete seasons in the conference.
Under Weeks' leadership, Ballard's success was defined not only by results, but by depth and competitive balance throughout the lineup. The Bombers placed five golfers inside the top 10 at the conference meet, highlighted by junior Parker Domino's individual championship round of 68. Jamin Colvin (73), Jordan Domino (75), Drake Hosteng (78), and Riley Dingel (79) all contributed scoring rounds that reflected the team's steady improvement over the course of the season.
Weeks' recognition as Coach of the Year reflects both the team's performance and the culture established within the program.
As the Bombers turn their attention to postseason play, they will carry momentum into the sectional tournament in Oskaloosa on May 13. With a conference title secured and individual accolades earned, Ballard now looks to extend its season beyond sectionals under the continued guidance of Weeks and his staff.
