Bombers Cruise Past Thunder
Ballard Defeats Grand View Christian 5-1
DES MOINES — The Ballard men's soccer team put together one of its most complete offensive performances of the season Tuesday night, rolling past Grand View Christian 5-1 in non-conference action.
The Bombers (6-5-0, 4-2-0 RRC) controlled the match from the outset, using crisp passing and consistent pressure in the attacking third to build a multi-goal advantage and never look back.
Rylan Martin and Nick Hiatt paced the offensive surge, each finding the back of the net twice.
Liam Hurst added to the scoring with a goal of his own, rounding out a balanced attack that showcased Ballard's ability to generate offense from multiple spots on the field.
Ballard will return to Raccoon River Conference play on Tuesday, May 5, when the Bombers host North Polk. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
