The Ballard men's soccer team hosted North Polk in a Raccoon River Conference matchup, but the Bombers were unable to find the back of the net in a 4-0 defeat.

North Polk controlled the tempo early, scoring twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the break.

In the second half, North Polk continued its momentum, adding two more goals to secure the 4-0 result and earn the conference win on the road.

Despite the setback, Ballard remains at 6-6 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

The Bombers will look to regroup quickly as they hit the road for their next matchup, traveling to face Central Iowa United on Thursday with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM.
