Boone Defeats Ballard 7-4
BOONE — The Ballard men's tennis team battled through a tough road matchup Tuesday, falling to Boone.
The Toreadors controlled much of the match across both singles and doubles, earning key wins at multiple positions to secure the overall dual victory. Ballard finished the day with a pair of singles wins and one doubles victory, but Boone's depth ultimately proved to be the difference.

Allen followed with a strong straight-set win at No. 5 singles, defeating Brandon Holm 6-3, 6-0.
The remaining singles matches went Boone's way, including straight-set wins at the top three positions. Boone's Braxtan Sproule, Strummer Grout, and Cal Jordan all earned victories to help the home team build early momentum in the dual.
In doubles play, Boone continued its strong showing, winning four of the five contested matches. The highlight for Ballard came at No. 4 doubles, where Cameron Allen and Breken Fleischmann secured a hard-fought three-set win, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7), showing resilience late in the match.
