Bio
Coach Ashley Frantz brings 12 years of high school coaching experience to the Ballard softball program. Most recently, she served as an assistant coach at Des Moines Lincoln for three seasons. Before her time at Lincoln, Coach Frantz coached at Des Moines North, Marshalltown Community College, and Saydel High School, where she developed her skills across multiple sports, including softball, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball.
A proud 2006 graduate of Saydel High School, Coach Frantz was an all-state standout in four sports. Her passion for developing student-athletes and promoting teamwork is rooted in her own athletic experiences and successes.
Coach Frantz lives in Des Moines with her husband, Andrew, and their three children: Natalie, Lauren, and Ozzy.
