Bombers Fall to Bondurant-Farrar in Conference Opener
Bondurant-Farrar Defeat Ballard 48-37
The Ballard women's basketball team faced a tough challenge against conference rival Bondurant-Farrar on Friday night, falling 48-37 despite a strong start. The Bombers now sit at 1-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
Ballard came out firing in the first quarter, utilizing solid defense and efficient scoring to build an early 18-8 lead. However, Bondurant-Farrar responded with a strong second quarter, holding the Bombers to just four points and narrowing the gap to 22-17 at halftime.
The third quarter proved pivotal as Bondurant-Farrar surged ahead with a 22-point effort, while Ballard managed 13 points. Entering the final frame, the Bombers trailed 39-35 and struggled offensively, scoring only two points in the fourth quarter as Bondurant-Farrar secured the victory.
The Bombers return to their home court on Tuesday, December 10, to host Boone in another conference matchup. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM.
