Bio
Coach Wynja and his wife, along with their three girls, have lived in Huxley for the past eight years. They are busy with youth sports most of the year and enjoy golfing together as a family. Pat started his coaching career with the DMACC women's basketball team and then was hired at Colo NESCO as an assistant boys' basketball coach. After three years as an assistant, he took over the head varsity position and held it for ten years. He has also been a high school softball and golf coach.
For the past five years, Pat has had the pleasure of coaching many youth girls' sports in the Ballard community, and he looks forward to coaching those same girls at the high school level in the future. He is currently working for the Parks and Recreation department with the city of Ames.
