Women’s Bowling Dominates Rams
Ballard Defeats Greene County 1828-1701
In an impressive display of skill and precision, the Ballard Women's Bowling Team secured a resounding victory over Greene County at Perfect Games in Ames on Friday, finishing with a total of 1828 pins, compared to Greene County's 1701.
Leading the charge for Ballard was junior Arden McCuddin, who posted an outstanding 264, followed closely by freshman Kendall Ersland with a 255 and senior Jenna Onstot with a 254.
Greene County's senior Allison Fields, who managed to post the highest individual score of the night with a 278, was a bright spot for the visiting team, but ultimately, the Bombers' balanced attack proved to be too much. Fields also claimed the highest game honor with a 160, but the consistent contributions from McCuddin, Ersland, and Onstot across the match ensured that Ballard's victory was never in doubt.
Renzi Ingersoll (143) and Kendall Ersland (138) also contributed impressive high games for Ballard, while Greene County's Trinity Hull posted a 151 in her high game performance.
With a record of 6-1, and 5-1 in the Two Rivers Conference, the Bombers are on a strong trajectory as the season progresses.
Ballard will look to extend their winning streak when they host Sigourney on Tuesday, January 21, at 2:30 PM.
