Women’s Bowling Stays Unbeaten With Strong Showing Against Rams

The Ballard women's bowling team continued its impressive start to the season with a decisive performance in the Heart of the Raccoon Conference matchup against Greene County at Perfect Games in Ames. The Bombers delivered depth, consistency, and standout individual efforts to secure the victory and move to 5–0 overall (2–0 conference).
Sophomore Kendall Ersland led the field with a dominant day, posting the top total pinfall at 339 and earning the high series honor. Ersland also delivered the second-highest individual game of the event with a 173, showcasing her steady form throughout both games.
Junior teammates Addison Hosteng and Kylie Chambers followed with strong contributions of their own. Hosteng finished with a total of 285 and an average of 142.50 per game, while Chambers recorded a 267 series and claimed the event's high game with a 174. Together, the trio powered Ballard to the top three positions in total pins, scoring average, and high series.
Greene County was paced by sophomore Trinity Hull (260 total pins, 143 high game) and freshman Madison Christensen (245 total pins), but the Rams were unable to match the Bombers' depth across the lineup.
