Ballard Women Control the Lanes in Home Victory
Ballard Defeats Pella Christian 2048-1265
The Ballard women's bowling team continued its dominant start to the season by earning a decisive 2048–1265 home victory over Pella Christian.
Ballard controlled the match from start to finish, placing four bowlers in the top four for total pins and sweeping the top four spots in high game, score per game, and high series. The Bombers' depth and consistency proved to be the difference as they built a commanding margin throughout the competition.
Junior Kylie Chambers led the way with an outstanding performance, rolling a match-high 327 series and posting the top individual game of 204. Chambers also finished with the highest average on the day at 163.5 pins per game. Sophomore Kendall Ersland followed with a strong 285 series and a 145 high game, while senior Arden McCuddin added a 267 series and a 143 high game.
Junior Addison Hosteng rounded out Ballard's scoring with a 236 series and a 142 high game, giving the Bombers four of the top five individual totals on the day. Pella Christian's AnnaBelle Carter led the visitors with a 223 series.
With the win, Ballard improves to 7–0 overall and 3–0 in conference play. The Bombers will return to action on Tuesday, January 6, when they host Bondurant-Farrar at 2:30 p.m.
