Ballard Defeats Bondurant-Farrar 2017-1994
The Ballard women's bowling team remained unbeaten Thursday afternoon, narrowly defeating Heart of Raccoon Conference opponent Nevada by a final score of 2017–1994 in a tightly contested matchup.
Ballard's depth and consistency across all games proved decisive, as the Bombers were able to hold off a strong Nevada lineup that placed three bowlers among the top five in total pins. Kendall Ersland led Ballard with a total pinfall of 314, finishing second overall on the night, while Arden McCuddin added a solid 292 to place fourth.
Ersland also turned in one of the top individual games of the match, rolling a 169 to tie for second-highest game overall. McCuddin followed closely with a high game of 156, contributing key frames throughout the competition.
Nevada's Kaidlynn Walkner led all bowlers with a 322 series, while teammate Rachel Borwick posted the night's high game at 173, keeping the meet competitive until the final frames.
With the win, Ballard improves to 9–0 overall and 5–0 in conference play, continuing a strong start to the season.
The Bombers will be back on the lanes Saturday, January 17, traveling to Norwalk for a meet beginning at 9:00 AM.
