Strong Team Effort Lifts Bomber Women's Golf
Ballard Shoots A 398
The Ballard women's golf team turned in a competitive performance at the Woodward-Granger Tournament, finishing fourth overall in a tightly packed field with a team score of 398. Host Woodward-Granger won the event with a 354, followed by ADM in second at 388 and Ogden in third at 397, just one stroke ahead of the Bombers. Perry, Bondurant-Farrar, Panorama, and Madrid rounded out the team standings.
Ballard was led by Madelyn Baltes, who posted a round of 92 to pace the Bombers. Olivia Holsapple followed with a 98, while Audrey Baltes and Cora Bohlen each contributed matching rounds of 104. Kallie Fulkerson rounded out the scoring lineup with a 109, and Kendra Evans added a 116 to complete the varsity effort.
The Bombers will be back in action on Monday, May 4 at the North Polk Triangular beginning at 4:00 PM.
