The Ballard wrestling team had four wrestlers advance to the medal stand after their performances at the State Wrestling Tournament. 

Easton Enyeart (106 lb) would advance to the semifinals defeating Atlantic's Taye Jordan by decision 9-2.  In the semifinals, Klayten Perreault of Mount Vernon would defeat Enyeart by a 3-0 decision.  Enyeart would bound back in the consolation semifinals to win 9-0 over Coy Mehlert of Union before falling to Nevada's Urijah Courter 5-3.  Enyeart finished 4th at the state tournament.

Tucker Vitzthum (150 lb) started the quarterfinal round falling to Caleb Olson of Union 3-0.  In the consolation rounds 4 and 5, Vizthum would pick up wins over Cooper Ludwig (Carroll) and Nile Sinn (Williamsburg).  Vitzthum would drop his final two matches to Hudson Scranton (Anamosa) and Tate Slagle (Algona) to finish 6th. 

Brody Sampson (190 lb) would lose by decision in the quarterfinals to Decorah's Thomas Sexton 10-6.  Sampson would then steamroll through the consolation side winning the next four matches to finish 3rd.

Henry Christensen (215) would win his quarterfinal round defeating Rhett Schaefer of Assumption 3-2.  Christensen would then lose his next three matches finishing 5th.

The Bombers season comes to an end.  The Bombers score 56 team points and finished tied for 13th at the State Wrestling Tournament.  They finish the season 14-7 in the dual season, finished seventh in the Raccoon River Conference, and sent five wrestlers to the state wrestling tournament.
