The Ballard men's wrestling team had a successful outing at the West Marshall double dual, securing a 44-28 victory over the host team and dominating North Butler in their other matchup.  The Bombers showcased their depth and resilience, improving their season record to 13-3 overall and 5-2 in duals.

Against West Marshall, Ballard relied on key performances to clinch the win.  Easton Enyeart (120 lbs) opened the dual with a thrilling sudden victory over Jon Gonzalez (10-7).  Tony Horness (132 lbs) and Jacob Harrison (138 lbs) added dominant wins, with Horness pinning Maddox Cooling in 1:26 and Harrison earning a technical fall over Dutch Hillers (16-0).  Tucker Vitzthum (165 lbs), Rhett Hedrick (190 lbs), Jackson Wacha (215 lbs), and Daniel Campbell (285 lbs) all contributed falls, sealing the Bombers' 44-28 victory.

Ballard also excelled against North Butler, with standout performances across multiple weight classes.  Grayson Hedrick (126 lbs) secured a quick fall, and Carter Jeffs (144 lbs) pinned his opponent in just 53 seconds.  Rhett Hedrick (190 lbs) added a technical fall, while Jacob Harrison, Jackson Wacha, and Daniel Campbell each recorded decisive falls, leading to another dominant team victory.

Up next, the Bombers will compete on Thursday, January 23, at Carlisle in a double dual with Des Moines Lincoln also in attendance. The action begins at 5:30 PM.
