Bombers Show Fight Despite Losses to Tigers
Ballard Goes 0-2 On The Night
The Ballard men's wrestling team hosted RRC opponents Carroll and ADM on Tuesday, splitting individual highlights between two challenging dual meets. Despite strong efforts from several wrestlers, the Bombers fell to Carroll 50–26 and ADM 64–11, moving their record to 3–10 overall and 2–4 in conference action.
Against Carroll, Ballard saw a standout performance from Easton Enyeart. Enyeart earned a dominant technical fall at 132 pounds, 17–2. Kyle Rhiner added a pin at 138 pounds in 3:26. Hayden Neer (144), Carter Jeffs (157), and Landon Askelsen (165) also recorded falls or decisions, helping Ballard accumulate 26 points despite Carroll's deep lineup.
The ADM dual proved even more difficult, as Ballard struggled to match the Tigers' strength across the board. Enyeart continued his strong run with a 132-pound technical fall, and Jeffs added a 157-pound fall in just 43 seconds. Outside of those performances, ADM's wrestlers controlled the mat, capturing decisive victories in nearly every other weight class and handing Ballard a tough 64–11 defeat.
The Bombers look to rebound Saturday at the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Tournament, beginning at 10:00 AM.
