Bombers Shorthanded in Dual Loss to Comets
North Polk Defeats Ballard 72-6
The Ballard men's wrestling team competed against North Polk on Thursday night but fell 72–6 in the dual, as multiple Bombers were unavailable due to illness, leaving the lineup significantly short-handed.
North Polk capitalized on the absences, earning points through a series of forfeits across much of the lineup. The Comets also added falls at 175 and 215 pounds to build separation in the team score.
Ballard's highlight of the night came at 138 pounds, where Easton Enyeart secured a first-period fall over Kelton Allen in 1:34, accounting for the Bombers' six team points.
With the loss, Ballard moves to 3–15 overall and 2–5 in conference action.
The Bombers will return home on Thursday, January 22, to host #23 Carlisle on Senior Night. The dual is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM.
