Harder Leads the Way as Bombers Cruise at Carroll
Ballard Defeats Carroll 3-0
The Ballard Bombers women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance on Thursday night, earning a 4-0 shutout victory on the road against Carroll.
Ballard set the tone early and never let up, controlling possession and applying steady pressure throughout both halves. The Bombers struck twice in the opening half to take a 2-0 lead into the break, then maintained their intensity after halftime with two more goals to secure the win.
Maci Harder led the offensive effort with two goals, showcasing her finishing ability and positioning in the attacking third. She was complemented by strong contributions from Lily Huntrods and McKenzie Dee, who each added a goal to round out the scoring.
Defensively, Ballard was just as impressive, keeping Carroll off the scoreboard and preserving the clean sheet. The back line remained organized and disciplined, while the goalkeeper unit turned away any threats that developed.
With the victory, the Bombers move to 2-2-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in conference play.
Ballard will look to carry that energy into their next match as they travel to Winterset on Monday, April 20, with kickoff set for 5:30 PM.
