Home Field, Home Win for Ballard Soccer
Ballard Defeats Carlisle 3-1
The Ballard women's soccer team protected its home pitch Friday night, earning a 3-1 victory over Carlisle in a strong offensive showing.
Ballard wasted little time setting the tone, scoring three first-half goals to take control of the match. Maci Harder led the charge with two goals. McKenzie Dee added another goal to round out the Bombers' scoring and give Ballard a comfortable halftime advantage.
Carlisle found the net once in the opening half but was held scoreless after the break as Ballard's defense tightened up and preserved the lead. The Bombers maintained control throughout the second half, limiting opportunities and closing out the match efficiently.
With the win, Ballard improves to 4-2-1 overall and 3-1-1 in conference play, continuing to build momentum as the season progresses.
The Bombers will look to carry that energy into their next match on Monday, when they travel to face Colfax-Mingo at 5:30 PM.
