Bombers Battle to the End in Loss to Clippers
Clear Creek Amana Defeats Ballard 4-0
TIFFIN — The Ballard women's soccer team's season came to an end Tuesday night as the Bombers fell to Clear Creek Amana, 4-0, in a Class 2A Regional Semifinal.
The host Clippers struck first in the opening half and carried a 1-0 advantage into the break. Despite a determined effort from Ballard to stay within striking distance, Clear Creek Amana added three second-half goals to pull away and secure a spot in the regional final.
Ballard battled throughout the contest, but the Clippers' attack proved difficult to contain as they controlled the momentum for much of the evening.
The loss closes the curtain on the Bombers' 2026 campaign. Ballard finished the season with a 7-8-2 overall record and a 3-4-1 mark in conference play.
