Bombers Earn Strong Representation on RRC All-Conference Teams
5 Named To Team
Following a season that saw Ballard advance to the Class 2A Regional Semifinals, four Bombers were recognized by conference coaches on the 2026 Raccoon River Conference Girls Soccer All-Conference teams.
Leading the way were junior Grace Grundmeyer and sophomore Maci Harder, who were both named Second Team All-Conference. Sophomore Lily Huntrods, freshman Alea Kinzenbaw, and senior McKenzie Dee earned Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition.
Harder established herself as one of the most dangerous attackers in the conference during her sophomore campaign. She led the Bombers with 21 goals and 46 points, while adding four assists. Harder also recorded 62 shots, placing 39 on goal, and finished with an impressive 33.9% shooting percentage. Her offensive production accounted for nearly half of Ballard's 49 goals this season.
Grundmeyer provided a consistent presence in the midfield and attack, finishing with five goals and three assists for 13 points. The junior started all 16 matches and registered 23 shots, with 15 finding the target. Her leadership and versatility were key factors in Ballard's run to the regional semifinals.
Huntrods earned honorable mention honors after contributing across the field throughout the season. The sophomore totaled two goals and three assists while appearing in 11 matches. Her ability to create scoring opportunities helped strengthen the Bombers' attack.
Kinzenbaw made an immediate impact in her first varsity season. The freshman finished second on the team in scoring with six goals and five assists, totaling 17 points. She started all 12 matches she appeared in and recorded 35 shots, showcasing the offensive potential that should make her a key contributor for years to come.
Dee capped off an outstanding senior season with honorable mention recognition. The senior forward led Ballard in assists with four and ranked second on the team with seven goals and 18 points. Dee started all 16 matches and recorded 53 shots, including 28 on goal, helping drive the Bombers' offense throughout the season.
