The Ballard women's tennis team competed in the Individual Regional Tournament at Atlantic on Wednesday.  The Bombers were unable to advance anyone to the state tournament but had a very successful day.  Kaitlyn Zugay placed fourth overall winning two matches on the day.

The Bombers are back in action on Saturday - May 14 when they travel to Boone for the Team Regional.  The meet will start at 9:00 AM.

SINGLES RESULTS

Round 1: Jordan Schwabe (Kuemper) defeated Regen Halsne 7-5, 6-4

Round 1: Kaitlyn Zugay (#4 seed) defeated Geralyn Anderson (Audubon) 6-0, 6-2

Quarterfinals: Kaitlyn Zugay defeated Mallory Kjeldgaard (Lewis Central) 6-2, 6-0

Semifinals: Samantha Tidgren (#1 seed - Kuemper) defeated Kaitlyn Zugay 6-4, 6-1

Third Place Match: Jordan Schwabe (#2 seed - Kuemper) defeated Kaitlyn Zugay 8-4
