Women's Tennis Rolls to Big Wins
Defeat Knoxville; Win Knoxville Tournament
The Ballard women's tennis team had a strong showing this past week, picking up a dominant win and making noise in tournament play.
On Monday, the Bombers traveled to Grinnell and delivered a clean sweep, winning 11-0. Ballard controlled the match from start to finish, showcasing their depth and consistency across both singles and doubles play.
The momentum continued into Friday at the Knoxville Tournament, where several Bombers earned top finishes. The doubles team of Payton and Harley Askelsen captured the tournament title with a strong performance throughout the day. Ava Reynolds and Alaina Severson also had a solid showing, finishing fifth in doubles, while Samara Roush battled her way to a fourth-place finish in the singles bracket.
Ballard now holds a 3-2 record on the season and looks to keep building when they travel to Saydel on Tuesday, April 29.
