Baumgardner Earns IGCA 4A Central All-District and Class 4A All-State Honors
Senior Helped Lead Bombers To 26-11 Season
Ballard senior Brenna Baumgardner capped off an exceptional volleyball career with two of the state's highest honors, being named to the IGCA Class 4A Central All-District Team and the Class 4A All-State Third Team. Her selection recognizes not only her impressive individual production but also the consistency, leadership, and competitive energy she brought to the Bombers throughout the season.
Baumgardner was one of the most dynamic hitters in Class 4A this season, finishing with 314 kills while attacking at a strong .357 efficiency across 93 sets played. Her ability to score in high-pressure moments made her a central force in Ballard's offense, and her reliability at the net helped drive the team's success.
Her impact extended well beyond the attack line. Defensively, Baumgardner recorded 54 total blocks with 14 solo and 40 assisted, establishing herself as a tough presence at the net. She added 51 digs, showing her all-around athleticism and versatility.
Baumgardner was also a steady producer from the service line, delivering 45 aces with a 92.4 percent serving efficiency.
Across 37 matches in her senior season, Baumgardner proved to be a player who influenced the game in every possible way. Her All-District and All-State recognition highlight one of the most complete and impactful seasons in recent Ballard volleyball history.
