Bombers Tackle Grueling Griak Invite
Ballard Scores 617 Team Points
The women's cross country team battled in the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday afternoon in Minneapolis. The Bombers finished in 22nd place with 617 team points. Wayzata (MN) won the invitational scoring 113 team points.
Wayzata's Abbey Nechanicky won the race finishing in a time of 17:37.4. Paityn Noe finished 2nd for the Bomers. She ran in a time of 18:08.1. Annika Larson finished 43rd racing in a time of 19:55.2. Ava Vance and Ava Richardson finished 94th and 207th finishing is times of 20:46.4 and 21:46.6. McKenzie Dee (344th - 22:58.4) and Raegan Loewe (380th - 23:30.3) rounded out the Bomber's scoring. In total, 476 runners ran in the field.
The Bombers are back in action on Thursday - September 29 when they compete in the Perry Invitational. The meet will feature the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity. It will start at 4:15 PM.
